The prolific Swedish artist Nordvargr and I have collaborated this past winter sending soundscapes back and forth until a product emerged: A wilderness of Cloades. It’ll be released Spring 2010 on Old Europa Cafe with limited edition packaging. More details later as they emerge from the Scandinavian depths. For now, watch.

This theme is to make a mix tape of songs from one particular year. I choose 1983. That was a defining year of music for me because that’s when Thriller came out and all my 4 year old self wanted to do is listen to that album over and over again. So Monday I was home sick and finally recorded this. It wasn’t rehearsed and done by the seat of my pants. That being said, some of the mixes are rough. Then after I made an intro and some overdubs from movies made that year. Enjoy.
